Pfu DNA POLYMERASE

 

Pfu DNA Polymerase is a highly temperature stable polymerase with proof-reading activity. It is a Recom.protein from the thermophilic bacteria Pyrococcus sp. expressed in E. coli .

Pfu DNA polymerase is suitable for applications which require a proof-reading activity, highly temperature stable and unique enzyme capable of synthesising DNA strands at an set temperatures in amplification reactions or primer extension.

The Pfu enzyme is always free from unspecific endonuclease activity, as well as nicking activities. It does not exhibit nucleotide terminal transferase activity for this reasons amplification products can be directly used in blunt-ended cloning.
