A BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand) incubator, often called a refrigerated or low-temperature incubator, is a specialized laboratory device designed to maintain constant, stable environmental conditions for biological and chemical studies. Its primary function is to measure the amount of oxygen consumed by microorganisms in water samples at a standard temperature, typically 20°C, over a period of five days.
