Value Read Tube

The Value Read Tube service is the service of choice for fast and reliable standard DNA sequencing reactions in tube format. It is highly automated to allow rapid processing of plasmids and PCR products. Sequencing results are delivered within 20 hours from receipt of your samples.
Samples can be sent as clones, un-purified PCR products and purified DNA.

96 wells Plate Sequencing

For single read sequencing of plasmids and PCR products in 96well microtiter plates Eurofins Genomics offers the Value Read Plate DNA sequencing service. Samples can be sent as clones, un-purified PCR products and purified DNA. Plasmid DNA preparation and PCR clean-up is included in the plate sequencing service.

Ready to load services

This service is offered for pre-cycled sequencing reactions in single tubes or in plates. Eurofins Genomics carries out the dye terminator removal and run the DNA sequences on ABI 3730xl DNA analyzers under standard parameters.

Sample Requirements

Plasmids:

  • 1 or 2 ug in a dried form.
  • Plasmids must be purified.
  • Minimum template conc. should be 100 ng/ul and minimum volume should be 10u
  • Provide 0.5ug of more DNA for every additional reactions.

PCR Products:

  • 10ul of 20-50ng/ul for PCR products <500bp or 10ul of 50-100ng/ul for PCR Products >500bp
  • PCR product must be purified.
  • Provide 20ng more DNA per 100 bp product length for every additional reactions.
  • Must enclose the gel photo of the samples with a size marker.

Primer:

  • Primer conc. should be 10pmol/ul, and minimum volume of 10 u
  • Provide 5ul of more primer for every additional reaction.
  • Enclose the sequence of your specific/non standard primers.
  • We could also synthesise your primers.

Plasmid prepration:

  • Provide coli colonies on plate or pure stab culture in presence of antibiotic as selection marker.
  • Provide vector name, size, copy number and antibiotic to be used for selection.

Special Instructions:

  • Please submit samples in 5ml micro centrifuge tubes.
  • Please do not use Tris EDTA buffer for eluting/dissolving your samples.
